Diabetic feet

Patient’s with diabetes are at risk for lower extremity issues such as neuropathy, peripheral arterial disease, fungal toenails, and wounds.  Diabetic patient’s need to be closely monitored and require specialized treatment, medications, and foot gear in many instances.

Here at Silverman Podiatry, we have been treating diabetic patients and managing their various foot and ankle conditions for over 30 years.  A simple foot screening for a diabetic patient can be the difference between avoiding a major medical issue or suffering a debilitating wound, infection, or even limb loss.
